The Challenge

WhyWeight launched with a powerful value proposition — free, OHIP-covered consultations with licensed weight management physicians — but had no way to get it in front of people. Their early attempts at digital marketing were fragmented and lacked a cohesive strategy. The website was plain and unconvincing. Social media accounts sat at fewer than 10 followers. Organic search traffic was virtually nonexistent. The few leads they were getting came through word of mouth alone.

They needed a full digital infrastructure — built from scratch, working together — to turn a promising service into a growing business.

The Strategy

Bolt Digital took over WhyWeight's entire digital presence in phases, starting with social media in August 2025, launching paid ads in October 2025, and rolling out a full SEO program in December 2025.

📣 Paid Advertising (Facebook & Instagram)

Built and managed multiple lead generation campaigns on Meta, testing audience segments, creative formats, and conversion objectives. The breakthrough came from influencer-produced testimonial-style video ads — real people explaining how WhyWeight connects Ontarians with OHIP-covered physician consultations. These outperformed static creatives and became a core part of the media strategy.

🔍 SEO & Content

Deep keyword research around high-intent, Ontario-specific weight loss queries. Rebuilt website content for both traditional search and AI-generated answers. Launched a blog strategy targeting informational and long-tail queries. Technical SEO, meta optimization, and link building rounded out the program.

📱 Social Media Management

Developed monthly content calendars with 10–12 professional posts per month across Facebook and Instagram. Content highlighted WhyWeight's core differentiators: free OHIP-covered consultations, physician-led care, and nutrition guidance. Managed community engagement across comments and messages.

🎨 Web Design & Creative

The website was redesigned to match the professionalism of the service — clean, credible, and conversion-focused. Handled ongoing graphic design for ads, social posts, and brand collateral.
